Fairytale is the name of Peer Gynt's new album, and a fairytale it is.
Is it rock'n roll, is it blues or is it folktones? At times one can only wonder if trolls has taken place in that flaming guitar. This hard punching, experimental but strait forward rockalbum takes you from the highest snow-covered mountains to the deepest caves within and introduces you to the mystical Norwegian folk- myths and legends without forgetting where this music originated from. Rock'n roll and blues has never before been played with such spellbinding power. Don't miss out on Peer Gynt's Fairytale, because this is one of a kind!

PEER GYNT´s 4´th album "The King Of Mountain Blues" was released in 1996 and proved that Norway had more to offer that The Olympic Games! The album is distributed in Scandinavia, Australia and New Zealand. For the rest of the world it is available on an import basis. The music video of the song "Good Lord" won the Norwegian award for Best Music Video.

PEER GYNT decided to work on his solo project in 1994 and by 1995 he signed a recording contract with the Norwegian label Tylden & Co/Polygram for 4 albums. PEER GYNT released two albums on the label and decided to cancel the contract in 1997. He had by then started to establish his international career and had already signed endorsement contracts with Fender and La Bella in the US.

Several of his recorded songs are also to be found on other albums for internationally independent record labels.

PEER GYNT started the band BoyToy in 1991. The lineup besides PEER GYNT was Ingus Frelsøy on Drums and Tor Even Brennvik on Bass. BoyToy released 1 album called "Høstfiken" with this lineup in 1992. After a year of touring PEER GYNT changed the bass player. In 1993 they released the album "BoyToy - II" with Kees Hansen on bass. He was touring with the band for a while and was later replaced with the bass player Audun Bergsmyr.
